Patient Safety The Missouri Center for Patient Safety is a private, not-for-profit organization dedicated to being the leader in providing solutions and resources to reduce medical errors and improve patient safety. As a federally-designated Patient Safety Organization, the MOCPS collects, analyzes, and shares learning from medical errors with a focus on prevention. In addition, the MOCPS leads collaborative efforts that bring together health care providers and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies and systems to improve the safety of care.
