This is a special invitation inviting all members of the Missouri State Medical Association Alliance to attend the 91st Annual Meeting in St. Louis, Missouri, Friday, March 18 and Saturday, March 19, 2016.

The MSMA strongly encourages you to book overnight accommodations at their Convention headquarters, the Renaissance St. Louis Airport Hotel. This helps the MSMA meet its contractual obligations with the hotel and maintain current Convention benefits, as well as keep future hotel guest rates and fees reasonable.

REFUND/ATTENDANCE POLICY
Refunds will be made if notification of cancellation is received SEVEN days prior to the opening event. Alliance members attending any or all events on the agenda pay the registration fee. The registration fee is necessary to cover overhead and incidental expenses.
FOOD FUNCTIONS
If you have specific dietary restrictions, please list on registration form, or contact Carol Jean DeFeo when making reservations (caroljfg75@gmail.com). You will be given special cards in the registration packet to so designate these restrictions during food events.
WILD WILD WEST FUNDRAISER & DINNER
Join the MSMA Alliance at the Wild, Wild West Foundation Dinner, featuring Western tunes, trivia, Jail & Bail, and a silent auction. Casual or western wear is encouraged! Dinner tickets are $120 per person, with $40 donated directly to the MSMA Alliance Scholarship Fund or the Missouri Medical Association Foundation.Attendees will have opportunities to both win prizes and bid on auction items. The silent auction will offer a way to contribute, along with your enthusiastic bidding to bring something unique back to your home. ALLIANCE DUTCH TREAT DINNER
Please join Alliance members for a Dutch Treat Dinner for Paul Mineo’s Trattoria Italian Restaurant, Westport Plaza, on Thursday, March 17. Please meet in the lobby of hotel by 6:30 p.m.
ATTENDEES
All Alliance Members whose state dues are paid by March 1, 2016, are eligible to attend the Annual Meeting. Please check with your county treasurer to make sure that your dues are paid for 2015-16.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICE
We honor our members who have passed during the 2015-2016 Alliance year, individuals with new babies, our members’ family members who have passed, and those serving in the military overseas at a special service at our meeting. County presidents are asked to please send a list of these individuals with important data such as name, date of birth or death, military title with name of Service and where serving, and for Alliance members, information such as significant offices they have held at the local or state level. EXHIBITS
County Alliances and State Chairs are encouraged to bring a display of county activities, programs and projects. These displays provide a visual exchange of ideas and are of great value to all.
WRITTEN REPORTS
All County Presidents, State Officers, and State Committee Chairs should e-mail your written reports by February 24 to the MSMA Alliance Secretary: Gill Waltman at grh@slu.edu
Reports should be:

ORAL REPORTS AT MEETING
• COUNTY PRESIDENTS: On Friday, March 18 you will have the opportunity to vocally share your county’s accomplishments with the general assembly. Since your written report will be printed or provided on a disk for the Annual Report, please feel free to pick one or two items to “show and tell” special projects or programs with the assembly. Try to keep your presentation under three minutes.
• STATE VICE PRESIDENTS: Vice Presidents will give reports and present awards at the “Spirit of the Alliance” Awards Luncheon on Friday, March 18.
• COMMITTEE CHAIRS: Reports will be presented on Saturday, March 19, during the general assembly.
COUNTY PRESIDENT PINS
The Alliance will have a supply of county president pins for purchase. You may want to purchase them for the installation of your new county president while at the Annual Meeting. Deb Snyder, MSMAA Treasurer, will collect the money for the pins.
