CME - UMKC Institute for Human Development/Missouri Disability and Health Collaborative Care for the Disabled

The University of Missouri Kansas City-Institute for Human Development (UMKC-IHD) is working in collaboration with the Missouri Disability and Health Collaborative and New Hampshire Disability and Health Program (DHP) to improve how health care professionals, including nurses and physicians, provide care for individuals with disabilities. The training only takes 30-45 minutes to complete, and it includes videos, interactive elements, and a post-training evaluation. Additionally, it is:

  • Free of cost
  • 100% online and self-paced
  • Approved for CME credit
  • Funded by the CDC

Ease Your Way Into ABS's New Reporting Requirements

ACCME Webinars Can Help You Get Started

ACCME will offer webinars in June and July to help accredited CME providers navigate the new credit reporting requirements of the American Board of Surgery (ABS).  

Although the ABS is discontinuing self-reporting of creditsby diplomates effective July 1, 2023, you still have until the end of the year to report any credits earned after July 1. 

During the webinar, ACCME staff will: 

  • Explain the ABS reporting requirements;
  • Suggest strategies to start registering and reporting credit for activities most popular with surgeons;
  • Offer tips for building more capacity in your program to register and report credit for more activities.
